L6 Meteorites

l-chondrite group · 8,339 meteorites

L6 chondrites are low-iron ordinary chondrites with petrologic type 6, the most thermally metamorphosed. L chondrites have lower total iron (20-25%) than H group. The most common meteorite type by number of falls.
